Manchester United head coach Eva Olid, Chelsea midfielder Erin Cuthbert, and Ballon d'Or nominee Caroline Weir have all been named on the shortlist for the Scottish Women's Football Awards 2026. The nominees highlight prominent figures across the women's game, celebrating standout achievements in both domestic competitions and on the international stage.
Olid is in contention for the coach of the year accolade after the Spaniard guided Heart of Midlothian to their first Scottish Women's Premier League title last season before moving to England's Superleague. She is joined in the category by Leanne Crichton, whose Rangers side secured a runners-up finish and currently sit at the summit of the 2026-27 table. Hibernian's Joelle Murray and Jack Beesley, who steered Spartans back to the top flight, complete the shortlist for the managerial award.
A quartet of attackers will contest the SWPL 1 player of the year prize, with four strikers earning nominations. Glasgow City's Nicole Kozlova, Celtic's Saoirse Noonan, and Rangers' Katie Wilkinson have made the shortlist alongside Georgia Timms, who departed Hearts to sign for Ipswich Town during the summer.
The Scotland international player of the year category features Cuthbert alongside fellow midfielder Weir, who completed a transfer from Real Madrid to Lyon during the close season. The shortlist also includes Brann winger Lauren Davidson and striker Kathleen McGovern, who made the switch from Hibernian to Newcastle United. The winners will be announced at Hampden Park on 28 November.
