Spain's Ana Pelaez produced a masterclass on the final day of the Aramco China Championship, storming to her second Ladies European Tour title in spectacular fashion. The Spanish star put on an emphatic display to claim the tournament victory, pulling clear of the field and dashing the ambitions of England's chasing pack.
The defining element of Pelaez's march to victory was an extraordinary nine-under round that left her rivals trailing. Adding even more drama to the Spaniard's closing performance was a sensational hole-in-one, an ace that propelled her toward the top of the leaderboard and ultimately sealed her second career title on the Ladies European Tour.
While Pelaez celebrated her dominant showing, the last day of the Aramco China Championship brought heartbreak for the English contingent. Mimi Rhodes, Charlotte Heath, and Annabell Fuller had all entered the decisive round with hopes of securing the title, but those aspirations quickly faded as the competition reached its climax.
Despite the presence of Rhodes, Heath, and Fuller at the business end of the tournament, none of the English golfers could keep pace with Pelaez's sensational nine-under round and hole-in-one heroics. In the end, the final day belonged entirely to Spain and Ana Pelaez, who leaves the Aramco China Championship as a two-time Ladies European Tour champion.
