Experienced shot-stopper Pau Lopez is on the verge of completing a move to FC Andorra, the LaLiga 2 outfit owned by former Barcelona centre-back Gerard Pique, according to reports.
The 31-year-old keeper arrived at Real Betis on a free transfer last summer, brought in as a backup option between the posts. He went on to feature 16 times across all competitions during his time at the club.
Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that Lopez is now poised to depart the LaLiga side, with his contract at Betis set to be terminated to facilitate the switch. Once that formality is complete, the goalkeeper will put pen to paper on a two-year agreement with Pique's second-division club.
