Bradford have officially confirmed their progression into the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup after securing a 2-0 victory over Peterborough. The outcome ensures that Bradford advance deeper into the knockout competition, having successfully navigated past Peterborough with a decisive two-goal win to seal their coveted spot in the next phase of the tournament.
The victory stands as a major milestone for Bradford, representing the first time the club has reached the Carabao Cup quarter-finals since their storied campaign in 2013. For Peterborough, the 2-0 scoreline marks the definitive conclusion of their Carabao Cup campaign. Peterborough were unable to overturn Bradford's two-goal advantage, ultimately bowing out of the competition as Bradford held firm to ensure Peterborough were eliminated from this season's tournament.
With the 2-0 triumph over Peterborough now secured, Bradford can look forward to competing in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals once again. Having waited since that remarkable 2013 journey to Wembley to reach this stage of the competition, Bradford take their rightful place in the last eight with their focus turning directly toward the upcoming quarter-final round.
